
Amanda graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with her Masters of Nursing Science degree. Amanda currently lives in Tuttle with her husband, their dog and chickens. She enjoys spending time with her three grown daughters and her grandchildren. Amanda is certified through ANCC as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and is licensed through Oklahoma’s Board of Nursing to assess, diagnose and treat clients of all ages, races and backgrounds in all aspects of mental health. Some of these diagnoses include but is not limited to: anxiety, depression, PTSD, sleep disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia and other mental health disorders. Amanda received her Bachelors of Science Nursing through Western Governors University.
Amanda is passionate about treating her clients in a manner that allows them to reach their highest and happiest level of functioning. In doing so Amanda helps them maintain a healthy work, life, love balance in an accepting, nonjudgmental, and safe environment. As the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran and a former employee of the Oklahoma City VA Hospital as a RN, Amanda was honored to do her practicums for her PMHNP at the Muskogee Oklahoma VA Hospital. This is where her respect and love of this honorable and unique population grew immensely. Amanda also did Clinicals at the Moore Autism Center / Moore Counseling Center, SSM Outpatient Health and Country Roads Recovery Center and has a passion for this population of patients.
