Angela Dickson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist with more than 15 years of experience specializing in Women’s Issues, including: mood disorders, trauma, chronic health issues, relationships, parenting, maternal mood disorders and perinatal loss. Angela has experience as a medical social worker providing services to women with high-risk pregnancies, birth anomalies, autoimmune diseases and utilizes a cognitive behavioral therapy approach, solution-focused and creative modalities including narrative therapy, art and play therapy.

Angela is past President of the National Association of Social Workers-Oklahoma Chapter, current member of the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers, Oklahoma Association of Play Therapy and Postpartum Support International-Oklahoma. She has been a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma and Rose State College; teaching up and coming social workers and medical students. She has presented at various local and national conferences on Motivational Interviewing, Suicide Prevention, Substance Abuse Prevention, Maternal Mood Disorders and Self-care for Behavioral Health Professionals. In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her husband of 17 years, her 4 children and her little Maltese, Princess. She likes going to music events, baking, shopping and seeing movies at the theater.
