Carrie McDowell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oklahoma who started practicing in 2018. She has a BS from Oklahoma State University-Stillwater, an MA from Oklahoma State University-Stillwater, an MLIS from the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa and an MSW from the University of OK-Tulsa. Carrie believes that people have the natural resilience to heal from adversity and trauma. Her practice is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and evidence-based and addresses the needs of the whole person, Carrie uses a variety of therapies, including the sciences of relational neurobiology and learning, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral techniques, and grief counseling. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys dog training, weaving, and reading.
