Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Northeastern State University and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Master’s degree in Social Work. In 2017, Jennifer completed her doctorate in Health Psychology from Walden University. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). Jennifer is currently working towards certification in perinatal mental health. With a professional background in community mental health, Jennifer has experience working with diverse populations. She has worked with adults, adolescents, and children individually and has facilitated therapy groups. Jennifer has experience treating clients with a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and addictions. Jennifer uses evidence-based therapy techniques, including CBT, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing, to support clients in identifying and achieving their therapy goals. Jennifer believes her role in the therapeutic relationship is one of empowering clients along their path towards greater self-discovery. She takes a client-centered and strengths-based approach to support clients in overcoming life’s challenges and building the future they imagine for themselves. Jennifer is a native Oklahoman. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and reading.
