Lori received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma and her Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University in Dothan, Alabama. She has been an RN since 1986 and served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps from 1986 to 1991. She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2002 and has worked with adults, adolescents, and children, in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings. Lori uses Cognitive Behavioral therapy, as well as other evidence based approaches, to help clients address mood, anxiety, and addictive disorders. She has completed Level One training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and works with couples to heal and strengthen their relationships. She is especially interested in using Health and Wellness principles to enhance her counseling services.
Lori enjoys music, dancing, reading, spending time with her son Christopher, and accompanying her husband Joe to local car shows.
