We appreciate your referrals!

Many of your patients are already being treated for a psychiatric disorder or you may feel that a patient is at risk for developing one. Perhaps your patient is struggling with low libido or painful sex and you don’t have the resources to treat her. If you feel like your patient would benefit from our services or you have questions regarding a woman’s mental or sexual health issue, we’d be happy to help!

We provide consultation with a psychiatrist and women’s health nurse practitioner who specialize in reproductive women’s mental and sexual health. We can advise your patients about diagnosis and treatment of mood, anxiety and sexual health disorders across the life span including before, during and after pregnancy, relating to the menstrual cycle and during the midlife transition to menopause.

We work with our patients to promote healthy lifestyle choices and engage in support building activities. Our goal is to promote the highest level of emotional, mental and sexual health while minimizing the use of medications (especially during early pregnancy).

We happily accept referrals from psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers and counselors. We work with referring therapists to maximize a patient’s health. If you are providing individual therapy for a patient you believe may benefit from a medication consult or one of our group therapy sessions, please feel free to contact us. Dr. Dalthorp will return your call or email as soon as possible.

We value our referral sources and understand the importance of communication between providers. When you refer a patient to us we will (with the patient’s permission) share the results of our evaluation and treatment plans either by phone (Dr. Dalthorp will call) or in written form.
