Seana Petri is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Oklahoma who has been practicing since 2013. She has a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling. Seana has had the privilege of working with children as young as four years old to as old as 84 years old and most ages in between. She primarily focuses currently on older teenagers and adults. She has experience working with a wide variety of clients. The last several years more than half of the clients she has been working with have a co-occurring diagnosis, meaning they are struggling with both mental health and addiction issues. Seana primarily uses CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness techniques with her clients depending on their individual needs. As a therapist she feels her primary job is to meet her clients wherever they are on their journey, and without any judgement walk with them to a healthy place where they want to be. Self-care is incredibly important for both Seana and her clients. Over the years she has discovered several different ways to help her with this. She loves to swim and SCUBA Dive. At the end of her day, she focuses on one of three activities primarily: working on her artwork her primary medium being charcoal and soft pastels; building her LEGOS, she has used more than 18,000 bricks and has a nice collection; curling up in front of the fireplace and getting lost in a good book.
