Stella has over 20 years of nursing experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Southern Nazarene University. In preparing her Masters Thesis, which explored access to healthcare, she learned and took to heart that one of the contributing factors to difficulty in accessing healthcare is a shortage of providers. To help alleviate this issue, she decided to obtain the specializations needed to become a provider for her community. She enrolled at Graceland University and completed the Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2013. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing Nurse Practitioner in Adult/Gerontology Acute Care and Psychiatric/Mental Health. Since then, she has accumulated a breadth of experience, practicing for over eight years as a hospitalist at OU Medical Center. Stella is committed to a holistic approach of helping clients reach their full potential emotionally, mentally, and physically. She maintains state certification with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, and national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and American Nurses Credentialing Center. Stella is married with 3 children and a new grandson. She enjoys family time, shopping, and traveling.
